Why participate?
Nigeria, with $477bn GDP in 2022, is the largest economy and the most populous country on the African continent, with more than 200 million people, which is expected to double by 2050.
The country is the second largest importer in Africa of plastics processing technology (€143m in 2022); the largest importer of packaging technology (€183m in 2022); and the second largest importer of printing and converting machinery in sub-Saharan Africa. It is therefore a very promising market, both in terms of its current size and its future development.
plastprintpack & agrofood Nigeria bring together, in a single event, the agricultural mechanization, food processing, plastics and paper processing (for packaging and non-packaging), packaging and bottling sectors, and is the most important local exhibition for the above sectors.
The objective of participating in this event is to increase the export opportunities of Italian companies, in an area with strong market potential, but where the assistance of institutions is still essential to approach local operators in the most effective way.
